In our growing partnership with AGSD, the administrator team is applying brain science to practice through the Science of Learning & Leadership professional learning series and Innovation Summit Series. Their Future of Learning action team is also a Think Tank for creating innovations in K-12 professional learning, and we are facilitating team retreats for AGMS. Participants in their Aspiring Leaders program are also Teacher Leader Fellows.

Bensalem is leveraging brain science to strategically advance the district’s goals and comprehensive plan. Our partnership includes collaborative professional learning for administrators and Think Tank members, Teacher Induction Programming for new staff, and innovative staff joining both Teacher and Admin Leader Fellows cohort programs.

The Truman Think Tank is entering its fourth year working to boost community and motivation among 9th grade students. New teachers are participating in Teacher Induction programming, teams of innovative staff are joining both the Teacher and Admin Leader Fellows cohorts and Innovation Summit Series, and we will be kicking off the development of their Profile of a Learner.

In our long-lasting partnership with Centennial School District, we are strategically aligning brain science across their K-12 system. New staff learn about brain science in our Teacher Induction Program, innovative teams of leaders are participating in both the Teacher and Admin Leader Fellows cohorts, and we are kicking off a K-12 Climate and Culture Think Tank.

With generous support from Fluxspace and Montgomery County, we are honored to partner with Norristown Area SD in their development of STEM spaces and skills, including understanding the brain science of learning and leadership. Administrators are participating in the Science of Learning & Leadership series and Innovation Summit, and teacher leaders are participating in the Teacher Leader Fellowship.

Pennsbury is a leader in innovation with two Think Tanks, one at Pennsbury High School improving intrinsic motivation and a second spanning K-12 to design a Portrait of a Classroom. The K-12 administrator team is also exploring the Science of Learning and Leadership, joining the Innovation Summit Series, and the William Penn Middle School is working through leadership retreats with teachers to refine their vision for learning and culture.

We are proud to partner with Radnor Township SD to support a strong team of Teacher Leader Fellows, a team of administrators participating in our Innovation Summit Series, and engaging new staff in understanding brain science through our Teacher Induction Program.

In partnership with Upper Dublin School District, we are supporting leadership development of their administrator team as well as the creation of their Portrait of a Graduate. We are also happy to support their comprehensive planning process through our Future Visioning Workshop with their steering committee.

A great team of teachers from Unionville High School are participating in our Teacher Leader Fellows program, and UCFSD administrators are exploring both the Science of Learning and Leadership series as well as Innovation Summit Series. We are also proud to have supported the research and development of UCFSD’s innovative Portrait of an Educator program.

We are proud to partner with Lower Merion School District, connecting their priority of belonging and equity with connections relevant brain science research. A team of leaders is participating in our Innovation Summit Series, to design meaningful upstream innovations in K-12 education.

We are establishing a Think Tank innovation team at Lower Moreland High School to design a research-informed approach to cell phones across the school. Can't wait to see what they come up with!

Perkiomen Valley is applying brain science to K-12 learning and leadership through administrator professional learning and participation in our Administrator Leader Fellows program. We are proud to have collaborated with teachers as well through our induction and science of learning series.

The School District of Haverford Township is leveraging the science of learning as a frame through which to strengthen their curriculum implementation, administrator leadership, and family engagement.

Cherry Hill High School East has used brain science over multiple years to support the foundation of their learning pillars of cognitive engagement, belonging, and social learning. We have explored multiple book studies through our partnership including topics of teen brain development and restorative practices.

At Edgewater Park, we have collaborated with district leaders, staff, parents, and students to facilitate Strategic Planning community workshop sessions to inform the development of the district’s next 5-year strategic plan, as well as professional learning about the science of agency to all teachers, staff, and leaders.

Aspen School District has strategically incorporated brain science for new teachers through our Teacher Induction program, and with K-12 administrators through our Science of Learning and Leadership series.

Marple Newtown is incorporating brain science in K-12 instruction through a Think Tank to innovate student-driven learning and resilience, and administrator development through the Science of Learning and Leadership series and Innovation Summit series.

The science team at Willingboro Township Public Schools is applying the Science of Learning to science instruction and skills, supporting their inquiry-based approach to learning for students in grades 5-12.

Springfield teachers, staff, and 3-6th grade students all explored the science of the brain, emotions, and learning in developmentally relevant ways so the whole school could be empowered by understanding how their brains learn in school and at home.

Nazareth teachers and administrators use the science of learning to facilitate meaningful use of their Innovation Center across all disciplines and ages of high school students. Together we also created an adapted evaluation framework that prioritizes research-based practices for high-quality student learning and engagement.

We have advised project direction for a collaborative team including SciStarter, Oregon State University, COSI, Science Festival Alliance, ASTC, and The Connectory to lead Science Near Me—a mobile-friendly website that allows the public to search a wide variety of opportunities to participate in STEM locally and nationally.
