FOR LEADERS OF PARTNER DISTRICTS

Each year, administrators and teachers from partner districts across our PLP Network gather to collaboratively innovate solutions to common challenges in K-12 education, through the lens of current brain science. Annual themes have included Science of Subtraction, Upstream Innovation, and The Science of How Technology Affects our Brains

Graduating PLP Leadership Fellows and PLP partners also present to each another about how they are innovatively applying brain science to improve K-12 learning and culture. Partners present about fellowship passion projects, think tank innovations, family engagement with brain science, Portraits of a Classroom and Educator, and more.

Think Tank Program

FOR TEAMS OF INNOVATIVE EDUCATORS

Transformational change in school learning and culture requires a purposeful integration of teachers’, administrators’, and students’ voices. PLP Think Tanks provide a framework for engaging a core team of solutions-minded educators toward innovative change to improve their schools, grounded in research on how people learn and thrive.

Cross-District Think Tank Leader Team

FOR EXPERIENCED THINK TANK TEAMS

After PLP Think Tanks spend 2-3 years establishing innovative change in their schools and districts, we invite a subset of leaders from each think tank to join our cross-district leadership team. We meet with this leadership team twice each year, to coach their skills to autonomously lead their respective think tanks to innovative change grounded in brain science research.

Currently participating districts include Bensalem Twp SD, Bristol Twp SD, and Pennsbury SD.
